UK

PERFORMANCES

Saturday, 7pm, Brooklands Stage
Sunday, 7.45pm, Brooklands Stage

Expect a raucous combination of thundering blast beats and high-octane sax from this London-based duo. With Jo Henwood on baritone sax and Tash Keary on drums, O. serves serve up heavyweight instrumentals of everything from cathartic dancefloor drops, to junglist breakbeats, intricate jazz lines and sludgy, menacing doom metal. They have honed their fearless sound and dynamic on-stage presence through a residency at Brixton’s iconic venue The Windmill in London, as well as on support slots across the UK and Europe with black midi and Gilla Band. O. has now distilled their unique live energy into their debut album, WeirdOs (2024) – 10 tracks recorded live to tape. The single Green Shirt sees O. expanding on its ever-evolving sound in what the band describes as “a short rock/metal rinse out”.
