QUEEN OMEGA

Trinidad & Tobago

PERFORMANCES

A star of the global dancehall-reggae scene, Queen Omega has been blazing a trail for other women through her powerful performances and conscious messages for over 20 years. She grew up in a musical family, listening to soul artists such as Aretha Franklin, Anita Baker and Whitney Houston, jazz and the traditional music of Trinidad, all of which have inspired her own sound. Nicknamed ‘Queenie’ by her fans, she has performed at some of the world’s biggest reggae festivals, including Reggae Rising in the USA, JaSound (France), African Music Festival (Germany) and Boomtown (UK).  Her 2023 recording No Love with Switzerland’s Little Lion Sound brought Queenie’s dancehall-reggae energy and powerful vocals to the hip-hop classic The Next Episode (Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg).  It was a phenomenal international success, capturing the imagination of a new generation and attracting more than 120-million views across social media.
