Nau mai tau mai te manu taki ata, karangahia nei ngā iwi taketake o te ao e te iti e te rahi kia rarau mai rā ki runga o Taranaki maunga ki te ahurei Toi o WOMAD. Kei te reo waiata, kei te reo kanikani, kei te reo whakatangi, tukuna kia rangona e te taringa e te karu e te ngakau. 

To the indigenous peoples of the world, welcome to WOMAD Taranaki. Settle yourselves amongst us so we can support your songs, your dances, your stories. A feast for our eyes, our ears, and our hearts. 

On behalf of the WOMAD New Zealand team we are pleased to welcome you here to New Plymouth and the greater Taranaki region for this fantastic festival.   

The festival team are here to help you enjoy your stay with us as we celebrate music, art and dance from all over the world at the stunning Bowl of Brooklands and Brooklands Park, New Plymouth – a venue like no other! Please take the time to meet the friendly locals and explore the area as we have so much to offer from the spectacular landscape of Mount Taranaki and our breathtaking coastline.
